Mix and Match

Happy Monday beautiful people!!! I thought being out of school for the summer meant more free time but that has not been the case. I attended a wedding on Saturday (Photos coming soon) and spent Sunday evening at Uzo's  graduation get-together. It has been long since I've gone dancing, so I took advantage of the oppurtunity and danced the night away.... How did you spend your weekend?

Mustard pleats

I was ecstatic when Motel Rocks reached out to me a few months ago, to showcase some of their pieces. I'm a big fan because they offer young, trendy and easy to wear styles. Did I mention they have great prices too?! One of the items I love is this pleated, mustard yellow, skirt. Apart from my current obsession with pleats, this mustard yellow looks amazing with my complexion... It just screams SUMMER...

I wore this to my friends' wedding back in April.  The dress is from BCBG's spring 2011 collection.  I kept it simple with light accessories and an Aldo wallet for an extra pop of color. I veered away from my usual red or pink lip and went with this Mac "goes and goes "

Animalistic

I can't believe it's already the middle of May! Seems like the month just started. I've got a very exciting weekend coming up, I have few friends graduating from undergrad, masters and medical school.  I'll be attending graduations and dinners back to back. To top it off I'll be attending my friends' wedding tomorrow evening.  This is a weekend of celebration and I've already buckled my seatbelt and ready for the ride.
