After exchanging gifts I drove to church with my favorite aunty; she is here for the holidays.  I'm very happy to have her around because I've not seen her in 3 years. After service, I  opened more presents and spent time with my family (:

A Day Closer

With Christmas being a day away, I'm super excited about spending time with my family.  Also, I can't help but wonder what Santa is gifting me (I've been good all year- I promise :).

How are you preparing for the holidays? I started Christmas shopping some weeks ago and I'm yet to finish.  I’m starting to panic a little because I’m still unsure of what to get few of my friends. I intend on finishing this weekend, so keep your fingers crossed for me.

Blogger Brunch Avec Net-A-Porter

 

As I stated on yesterday's post here's what I wore to my brunch with Net-A-Porter. Eight DMV based bloggers, myself included, were invited to join Kilee and Nicole (Net-A-Porter's PR and Marketing executives) at Bibiana (1100 New York Avenue Northwest, Washington). We enjoyed a three-course meal and chatted up a bit--endless conversations were the highlight of this affair. Kilee and Nicole were so friendly and easy to talk to.  It was truly an honor to have been invited to engage with such amazing and influential women.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?: An Evening with Net-A-Porter

Net-A-Porter invited me and a few local bloggers to their holiday cocktail party; hosted in conjunction with Vogue Magazine . Held at the lovely Hay-Adams Hotel (800 16th Street Northwest Washintong, DC 20006 the opportunity was both exciting and flattering as I am a huge fan of Net-A-Porter; one of the best online high end retailers. There was a short viewing of holiday gift ideas from Net-A-Porter's exclusive guide. The sole item on my Christmas wish-list was even featured: [Valentino: The Rockstud patent-leather pumps here]. The hotel was very well decorated and the outside view was amazing.  Before/After enjoying a delicious meal, Net-a-Porter presented us with a few gifts.

It was a pleasure to see Katherine from La Petite Marmoset again, and to also meet some amazing new people. Following the event, a group of us went over to the hotel's mini bar for drinks and to chat. Tomorrow's post will feature my brunch with Net-a-Porter.
