30th Celebration

My friend-Kehinde and her twin sister, Taiwo celebrated their 30th birthday last November with some of their friends. I wore this sheer Zara dress with 2 slits that had been collecting dust in my closet for months. The cocktail party was so much fun - I caught up with old friends, met new people, ate delicious finger food, and danced the night away!

Purple Rain

I spent most of my weekend with my family.  As a medical student, my sister is  hardly ever home.  She was around for a little over a week and left me here earlier in the  morning.  My mom has been doing loads of cooking and she did not disappoint us last night with some of our favorite African dishes.

I also saw DJango over the weekend...yah me!!
