Hi, how did everyone's weekend go?

Michelle and I had brunch with some bloggers in Washington DC yesterday and we really had a nice time.  Later on in the evening, we headed to our church's "Workers' Appreciation dinner" and had a blast.  It was endless fun for me and as I've mentioned many times on my blog, anything with food, music and good company is always a PLUS for me.

What to Wear: Fashion Interview

One of my friends had an interview with a major fashion company about 2 weeks ago and the outfit set below was what I suggested.  The great thing about an interview with a fashion company is that you have more flexibility in your outfit choices because they want to know that they aren't only hiring the best candidate for the job but also the most fashionable.  It 's important to keep in mind that even though you are able to show your personal style, you have to stay aligned with the store's style.  With a store like Ann Taylor Loft or J.Crew, it would be okay to mix prints and maybe wear something with vibrant colors but with stores like Banana Republic or Louis Vuitton you want to be more streamlined, clear and classic.  As with any interview do your research and look the part.

Double Peplum

Hi-I can't believe it's already December seems like 2012 started a few months ago.

Being a host at the "Pop Up Beauty Lounge" event I wanted to wear something cute but comfortable since hosting involves lots of walking around & meeting people.  I wore this double peplum ASOS top (here) & my JCPenney printed trousers. Watch my video of the event via a OC HERE.

Meet & Greet Video

I mentioned on a previous post that I was hosting a Meet & Greet/ "Pop-Up Beauty lounge" event in DC last week with Naja (such a beautiful person).  I had so much fun meeting local bloggers & some of my readers.  The even took place at La Petite Marmoset's awesome space and the owners- Katherine & Ashley- were incredible.  The even was put together by Red Sprinkle & Squareroot Groups, guests left with "Swag bags" that contained great items such as Iman cosmetics, nail polish and different types of beauty creams.  My BFF, Michelle was in attendance and was gracious enough to record some fun moments.  Below is a snippet of the event PLEASE watch below or HERE (The video can only be viewed on a PC)
