Orange Crush

One of my favorite online boutique stores is Aqua because of their unique apparels.  I purchased this dress nearly a year ago and completely forgot about it.  I stumbled upon it while looking for what to wear to a charity-networking event last month.

The flowing fabric and double slit adds an element of sexiness to this aqua dress.

Because I wanted to keep the focus on the dress, I accessorized with gold jewelry with a little pop of color with color-block sandals.

Mint Purple

Cheers to a new week!!!
I didn't get up to much this past weekend.  In fact, the highlights of my weekend were going to the gym on Saturday morning and shooting a video with Michelle on Sunday.

As I’ve said before, one of my favorite new hobbies is working out.  After so many years of speaking about signing up for a gym membership, I finally did in June.  Prior to this- the last time that I truly worked out was when I ran track in high school.  To be sincere, I had no clue that I would be this consistent.  I'm really proud of myself and staying fit & healthy feels awesome!!  What do you do to  stay fit?

Best Looks of The Week

Eva Longoria kept everything neutral at BET's Black Girls Rock Award in a Dana Budeanu dress, YSL clutch & Christian Louboutin pumps.

Kerry Washington was also in attendance at the BET's Black Girls Rock Award  in a Marchesa Dress, Christian Louboutin heels, Anita Ko earrings and a clutch by Anndra Neen.

Solange Knowles switched things up by wearing her hair straight & she looks great in this Dolce & Gabbana printed dress and heels.

Optic Dot

Hope everyone's week is going on well.
  

I wore this skirt about a year ago here



I really like this JCrew optic dot top that I bought while shopping with Funke.  We both really love polka dot prints so I had no choice but to purchase it (lol).  For this shoot, I wanted to pair the top with a bright colored skirt which made my Zara skirt the perfect choice.  I completed this look by adding my gold thrifted skinny belt.
